We would like to let you know that you have a duty under the Insurance Contracts Act to take reasonable care not to make a misrepresentation to us. This means you must answer all our questions, fully, accurately and honestly, including where you provide information on someone else’s behalf.

Your answers to the questions we ask will help us decide if we can insure you, and on what terms. Each question we ask you is important for us to make our decision. If you fail in your duty, we may cancel your policy or reduce the amount we pay you if you make a claim, or both. If your failure is deemed fraudulent, we may refuse to pay a claim and treat the policy as if it never existed.

It is important to note that all Enthusiast policies are declared driver policies, so we only cover drivers if they are listed on the vehicle under your policy. Please refer to our Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for more information. Any personal information that you provide to us will be collected, held, used and disclosed in accordance with our privacy policy which is available on our website. If anything is unclear or you would like more information about this duty, please call us on 1800 10 10 44.

Laid up cover means the vehicle is not driven at all during the insurance period and there is no cover for it being used under its own power. Note: Any vehicle over 10000kms per year should only be accepted if there is multiple vehicles on the policy.

The placeholder value is indicated by our system database as a guideline. We will pay the customer up to this amount if they suffer a covered loss.

Agreed Value is the dollar value of the vehicle including all of its Modifications. If agreed, we will pay up to this amount for a covered loss. Please note, we may need to review your request and request additional information to approve your Agreed Value.
